Windswept Cakes was born from a love of great cake, celebrations and people being together. I have always loved occasions, seasons and celebrations. This combined with baking being my happy place, sparked my interest in celebration cakes.

I want to help make your occasion wonderful, whether that be a birthday, wedding, christening or 'just because'! I will take the time to understand you and work with you to discover what kind of cake would be perfect for you.

 

The name 'Windswept' comes from a wonderful house I stayed in with my family in Bermuda. Bermuda was the place my Mum and Dad met, lived and fell in love. It holds incredibly special memories for me and my family, so it felt like a perfect tribute when beginning this next phase of my life.

 

Windswept also represents the reality of starting a business and being a Mum myself, I often feel quite Windswept!

I am largely self taught, having been on a couple of short courses with bakers I admire. I am constantly looking for ways to perfect what I do and create new designs.
